Okay, so as you've probably guessed by now, I'm a Christian. I might not agree with something a person does or the way a person might think on a certain issue, but I don't hate anyone. I do my best to love others as Christ has loved me. That's why I'm writing this to you; an invitation for Salvation.
Look, we've all sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). I know I've certainly committed some sins I'd like to forget. Trust me, I'm not about to go casting stones here. This is a message of God's Love and how He'll carry it out for you... if you let Him. See, because we've all stained ourselves with sin... we're not exactly Heaven-bound. We're actually bound for somewhere that is the polar opposite (You know EXACTLY where I'm talking about) and it's millions of times worse than how it was depicted to us in cartoons as kids. In fact, the Bible speaks of Hell FAR more than it speaks of Heaven in warning of its horrific and indescribable eternity... all though I'm convinced Jonathan Edwards got his description as close as mortally possible. Point is, it's somewhere you DON''T want to end up.. and there IS a way out.
That's where God's ultimate act of Love comes in; see, try as we might, we mortally cannot climb our way out of the depths of Hell on our own actions. We're imperfect and riddled with sin of our own accords and therefore too blemished to enter the pearly gates. That's why God gave His only Son, Jesus (John 3:16), born of a virgin and sinless, to give up His precious and untainted blood that we, if we only call upon Him and ask Him, may be saved by that perfect Grace.
I repeat, we as mortals CANNOT gain Salvation through our own actions, try as we might. It is Holy impossible... *snerk* S-sorry, little Christian humor there to lighten the mood. *ahem* But that's why God created this way for us through His Love for us. All you have to do... is ask Him. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, regardless of race, creed, nationality, etc. God does not discriminate because He created us and loves us all equally. Just call out to Him with all your heart... He'll hear you. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins... and HE WILL. Now, does Salvation automatically make you a perfect person? Fudge no, you're gonna continue to sin until the day you die and go to Heaven, buddy! That's just how being a human works! Being Saved DOES mean that all your past, present, and future sins are forgiven, though!
So does that make Salvation a "Get out of Hell" free card, whereas you can just do whatever the spork you want and still go to Heaven? Well, yes and no. You ARE getting out of Hell free because you couldn't do it on your own to begin with. You couldn't do it, I couldn't do it and the fencepost couldn't do it. That's NOT a license to just go out and commit sin just because it's forgiven though. See, when you ask God to forgive your sins and MEAN it, then there's a repentance of those sins that happens in your heart. The Holy Spirit (Part of the Holy Triad along with God and Jesus) will be there with you once you ARE Saved to help you from committing further sin... generally. You're still a human and you're still gonna spork up occasionally; the Holy Spirit is only going to hold you back SO much because you come into this world as a free moral agent. Free will, as it were, is like a personality builder that got flawed by sin for lack for better terminology. It's your best feature so of course, that's what Satan likes to attack. As my dad always told me growing up, "You don't get better to get Saved, you get Saved to get better!", but I digress.
In closing, Salvation through the Blood, Love, and Grace of Jesus Christ is your only way to Heaven. All you have to do is call on His name and ask Him to forgive you of your sins; ask Him with ALL your heart as your Lord and Saviour to deliver you out of Satan's hands in Hell and repent of your sins. That's all it takes; if you call upon Him He WILL hear you. Your chance for a better eternity is here and now. Please take it now because tomorrow might be too late. I don't want to see ANYONE go to Hell, not even my worst enemy. God doesn't want to see you go to Hell either. He wants to love you, not to judge you. I love you too, whoever, wherever you are out there reading this, and that's why I've written it here for you. (John 13:34)
Thank you for taking the time to read this. It is wholly your choice if you accept or reject the Eternal Gift of Salvation. I don't expect anyone to follow anything blindly, so if you feel the need to research what I've told you in this message first before making any final decisions, please feel free to do so. God said Himself that He wants those who choose to follow him to not follow blindly, but to study the Word for themselves and learn on their own (2 Timothy 2:15). I do urge you to get Saved, I really do, but I also want you to know that I'm not trying to ask you to make any blind decisions... I do ask you to do it as soon as possible, however, as I mentioned prior tomorrow is never promised. Be Blessed and stay Blessed, friend.
